Punchinella

Punchinella is a VW LT35 Mk 1 with a maximum load capacity of 3.5t. Surprisingly, only a standard car license is required!

She was factory-built as a part horsebox-camper in 1996, and the front cab retains its original color. The roof height allows for easy standing within the van, even for taller individuals.

Our love for all things 'horsey' led us to Punchinella when we stumbled upon her ad online. We promptly arranged a trip to the East Midlands and drove her all the way home to Swansea!

Her 2.5 Diesel engine is robust but not designed for high speeds, so the journey itself becomes part of the adventure! The cab provides seating for three with full seat belts, and the camping area offers additional seating for one person with a lap belt.

There's ample space for the entire family, currently providing sleeping accommodations for four adults and additional room for a small adult or child. We've preserved as many original features as possible to maintain her character, including the full-height loading ramp and the rubberized reinforced floor at the rear. The rear section offers great flexibility for adding an extra bed, storage, a kitchen with a view, or even an indoor toilet!

Additional storage is easily accessible under the bunkette, and setting up gas cooking is a breeze, whether you're in the mood for a quick brew or a scrumptious breakfast. This can be done outdoors or at the very rear of the van with the ramp down.

Honeypot

Honeypot is a VW Crafter Mk1 with a maximum payload of 5t, but it has been down-plated to 3.5t, requiring only a standard car license. It previously served as a tactical response van for the Greater Manchester Police, and many of these characteristics have been retained, most notably the sturdy racking at the rear.

Honeypot is equipped with a 6-Speed 2.5 Diesel engine, allowing for comfortable cruising on the motorway or traversing country lanes.

The roof height strikes a good balance between maneuverability within the van and the ability to pass under bridges and parking barricades. Individuals of shorter stature can stand comfortably, while those taller may need to bend slightly.

Honeypot provides secure seating for 6 people with full seat belts: 3 in the front cab and an additional 3 in the rear. There is sleeping space for 2 people inside, and additional individuals can be accommodated in the drive-away awning.

The original racking at the rear offers ample storage space.
